GIDEÖN’s HOMO-CENTRIC RECORDS continues to go from strength to strength with its third EP, the soon to be dancefloor classic Brighter Day featuring Tobirus Mozelle and Tasty Lopez.

Brighter Day is GIDEÖN’s response and reply to Cajmere’s original house classic Brighter Days feat Dajae. This new track is a love letter to the hope and optimism of those early days of house. A postcard from the dark and complex times of today's dancefloors.
On top of the hypnotic organ motif, the lyrics decry the populist hijack of our global democracies, climate change at the hands of big business and the tech powered globalised capitalism that defines our era. These realities rose-tint the naive optimism of the 90s house sound that Gideon fell in love with back then. Brighter Day gently reconsiders this nostalgia and sends back a worthy response.
